Does anyone still read this I wonder?

Well, it has been forever and a day since I have posted anything on here. Facebook has pretty much taken over my internet time. But, I thought since I had some time tonight, I would write some stuff.
Whats new? phew what is not new! RJ and I are finally married woohooo. I promise photos to follow, we are still working on them. But we have hit a bit of snag with Rick's printer (RJ's dad), its just not printing the poper hue apparently he thinks that they do not look right, to me (an untrained eye at best) I really cannot tell the difference, they look great printed, but he thinks they are tooo pinky.......so he is going to have the printer (professional huge printer I should say) checked out and calibrated, then we will continue printing. So, all of you out there expect thank you photos in black and white, because I have to get them out there.
Our apartment is starting to look pretty good. We have pictures up and generally keeping it clean (but don't just pop by heee). I just got my new laptop which I love. Its so nice to check your email in two mintues, instead of waiting for hotmail to load up for 10 mins. RJ hooked up the wireless network in two seconds flat and its so nice to playing away on the internet while still make sure dinner is on its way. Now, we just have to figure out what to do with my old laptop, RJ is going to take it to this computer shop that is beside his work and see what they can do with it.
Hmm, what else is new? Lots of changes at work, the lady who actually hired me the executive assistant left a few months ago. So, work has been difficult for the last little while, it was a lot too learn in a short few weeks and then I was alone. Things have gotten a lot better, but still I definitely need the help. So, we finally have another assistant starting in a week. I met her when she had her interview and she seems really nice and ready to learn. So, hopefully with the two of us we can get the office running smoothly and we will have time to fix up the filing system because it needs it, but there has just never been the time, I try to work on the worst files as they come up, but gosh there are so many that are just a mess. One of the perks of being there longer is that I am going to have my own little office woohoo. So excited. Although, I think it will be weird not to see everyone coming in. Now, I just have to figure out a plan to show the new assistant everything without overwhelming her. There is so much stuff....but I know it all just takes time.
Well I have rambled long enough, I hope to post more often, but I will not make any promises hahah!

Oh ya we are married now

definitely all wedding talk

I have decided that since RJ really really wants me to post I will make this entire entry about the only thing lately that can even put somewhat of a smile on my face -- and of course this is all wedding talk all the time hehee!

sooo far sooo good, with the wedding planning. I finally at Christmas asked my last bridesmaid if she would be a bridesmaid, hee it was my cousin Justine, I was fairly sure she was going to say yes, so we pretty much planned with her in mind for everything. I just reallly was subborn about asking her in person, I didn't want to do it over the phone or even over email because it is kinda big question and of course the reaction is always great to be witness too.

my dress is in the shop they called just before Christmas and said it was in, so I finally made my first fitting appointment, not until April which seems incredibly close to the wedding date, but it does give me some more time to loose a little more weight and tighten what needs tightenin heee. When the lady was like oh how about April, I was like why so far way, she was like do you want to try on the dress now? haha, I sorta laughed I was like I would but my fiance is here and really we only came for a sample of the bridesmaid dresses to give to the florist, so if I start trying on my dress he is going to kill me. She understood.

The florist was painless......which most things have been for us, cuz we really know what we want when we are walking into to any of these places. but anyways, the lady there was super cool it is the house of flowers in downtown oakville, we had a list of people and we already had a good idea of what we wanted. We did find a new flower for the guys that I fell inlove with, so we kinda switched that up. but its hydrangeas (spelling ignore, I don't think I will ever get that right) for the girls and this really cute blue flower that escapes me for the guys right now, if it wasn't like 1am, I would call RJ, but he is sleeping. hmmm I can't think of it at all hmph, oh well, I will tell ya all later. the dad's all have blue roses and the moms and grandmas have white. so ya we were really happy with this place.

next on the list is wedding invitations. we have already decided on the place, once again in oakville, its called the paper boutique, they have the coolest stuff there and its really cheap hee! and of couse what sold us on this place, was that they address the envelopes for you, granted they are printed which goes against all the rules of wedding invitations, but oh well, I can't write a hundred invitations by myself and rj can't write any because they won't get to the right address with his tiny, chicken scratches (you all know, guy writing hmph) hehehe.

I was flippin through the new sears catelogues, lots of cute summer wear, hopefully I can find some spare moolah, so I can get some new stuff for our cruise, I am soo excited! sooo much fun. I just hope the flying down to puerto rico (san juan) goes smooth that is really the only issue that was worring me....we have to make a connection from the buffalo airport to jfk...then to san juan, I just hope everything goes well. finger crossed!

now its nearly 5 months before the wedding and still the little details have not gottten to me, but I know they are comming....I feel like everything is planned out, but can it really ever be planned completely heheh.....

i wonder

i wonder if you know when you are having a mental break down, because you know what I think I could be close to it, if not going through it as we speak.
on saturday I borrowed from my old store maple grove the order guide for the supplier that we use for supplies like containers or gloves, stuff like that, I photocopied it at home and left it on my desk, RJ took the book back to maple grove for me....after saturday I could not find the sheets that I photocopied - i looked everwhere, it drove me insane, to the point of tears I kid you not. RJ walked in and looked in the paper loaded into my printer and what do you know its right there. but i caused him to drive to my house the whole way from burlington -- i am losing my mind!

guess what!

well I have great news.........I got my wedding dress today..........sooooo excited! Last wednesday I went shopping with my sister and we must have tried on a billion dresses, but I had narrowed it down to two which actually looked quite similar but had different attributes to both. But today I went back and made up my mind. I got the dress. There was a huge price decrease as well, it was priced at 799 when I first saw it on wednesday and then today, 650, say what, and there was a 15 percent discount for their weekend sale...............soooo happy!! sorry I can't really describe the dress because RJ reads my blog....haaaa!

I also found the bridesmaids and maid of honour dresses, which were also quit reasonable -- my sister loved it, soooo hopefully the other two girls will tooo!! I will try to find pictures to post!

anyways, working news, looks like RJ is being to the Bronte store probably in the next few weeks once they have finished their renovations there.....umm the only positive is that he is then 15 minutes away from home, the crappy part, I will never see him -- but I am sure we will find a way right :)

what else hmmm I have asked to me moved several times, but no go, my manager wont let me leave he kepts denying my transfer which sucks cuz I am not happy there -- but I am sure I will deal with it for now!

anyways gotta go and study for my G1 test taking it this thursday, cuz ya everyone needs to know how to drive (or so I am told hehehe)!

bridal show and more!

Well, this past week was very busy -- well busy for me, cuz usually i work and then sit around. hahah!
Friday night, lins and gregg invited us over for din-din and chillin time, but as usual only the lord new when I would be finished at work, so RJ went over and represented (haha for the hood tee hee), anyways, I hear i missed great times, with pizza and v for vendetta. but dont worry i was able to enjoy in the sunday fun!

saturday as usual, had to work early -- i have been going in at 6 am so that I can get all the tag changes down before the store opens at 7am, because otherwise it is too hectic and I will end up yelling at my boss again, like I did last weekend. anyways, I worked until about 4:30, left for church around 4:45 and then I was home around 6, RJ and I went to best buy so he could use the gift certificate my parents gave him for his b-day and then we had taco bell for dinner, why cuz its cheap and we are lazzzzy.............and we have to get all the junk in possible because as of october we are on our diets umph!!!

sunday was great -- well first I had to go to work and do the waste and then set everything up for kids for the rest of the day! Then, me, my mom and Beth headed over the bridal show, which was amazing. very busy, but soooo good. I saw sooo many great things, signed up for sooo many contests its unbelievable. I tried on a few wedding dresses, one of them I loved, except a lot of beads were loose and the dress had definitely been worked over. but at least I know the style that I want and the sizes were not as bad as I had been worrying about all along. Beth was tearing up it was cute!!

then that night, we headed over the lins and greggs so that we could finally give lin's her b-day gift hello, the beginning of august, how ridiculous are we!! we headed out for dinner at turtle jacks in burlington, it was great.....love the food there, i was ridculously stuffed, I think we all were!!! we went back to their home, and we watched some weird movie called OakBok or some like that -- well I didn't get to see much of the movie, because I fell asleep, how horrible am I!! But I was sooooooooooo tired I was up at 6 am yuck!! But it was a really fun night!!!

well I gotta go, suppose to be my day off tomorrow, but oh no, I gotta go in, because the stupid fresh manager forgot to tell me about some meeting tomorrow and thursday!! errrrr

this crazzy life we lead

well, you know when you want something to happen because it expect it to be one way, but ends up turning out completely different in the end. well, this has definitely been the experience for rj and myself once we got back to our old store. we both were soooo excited to get back there, but what began happening was just the worst thing possible, and it was never expected.

the first week we were back to help set-up --- we were both treated like garbage well rj more than me by our store manager. He would make comments like we were always together, when my deli specialist showed up, he told rj not to be around, even though he was explaining something to her, when RJ and I were discussing whether or not I could keep a rack of bbq chickens in his cooler, so we wouldn't have to go down stairs all of the time, he snapped at RJ and said it was none of his business and too only worry about his department. so needless to say it hasn't been the best working environment.

since then things have only gotten worst. there is tooo much work for both us in our departments and we have no help at all. I have no full time staff, we were finally able to get a few people to work during the day, but RJ was only allowed one full time meat cutter (who just a rude ass in my opinion, but we will to that story at a later time), so needless to say both of us are struggling.

SO, RJ has made the difficult decision to get a transfer to another store, we don't know where that will be yet but its definitely for the best. Who can stand working like this!! Anyways, he feels like he needs more training, I think he needs more help and cooperation, but I understand why he feels this way.

For me, well I exploded at my boss last saturday, because nothing i had asked for the part-times to do on friday was done, absolutely nothing and the deli was a horrible mess ---- I pretty much told him that he found someone better to hire them because no one listens to me. so at this point god only knows what is going to happen, I just wish I could something in parole or probation and get out of this whole thing entirely......

but i will keep wishing!!
